Aisha Barnes

Prior to coming to SUHI in January 2010, Aisha had 7 years of experience working as a bilingual Medical Assistant.  Her areas of expertise include Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Gastroenterology.

Aisha has worked with some great doctors and nurses and has obtained a wealth of knowledge as a result. Her past positions have included Visiting Physicians, Saint Mary and Saint Elizabeth Hospitals (affiliates of Resurrection Healthcare) and Southwest Gastroenterology.

Aisha also has experience working as an insurance collection specialist, a receptionist, and a G.I. technician. She enjoys working with children and adults and reports that it’s very rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of her patients because it means that she’s done her job well.   Aisha enjoys spending time with her family.  They enjoy playing games, bowling, watching movies and cooking dinner together.  Aisha and her spouse have four children between the two of them.
