Kimberly B. Felker

Community Health Educator

Kimberly B. Felker
Kimberly is a divorced mother of a teenage son, Kinnith. Kimberly was born and raised in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. Soon after high school, she bought a home in Humboldt Park, where she still resides.

Kimberly’s work history allowed her to pick up part-time jobs that were interesting to her, while working a full time job. She’s done everything from being a Pharmacy Technician for 12 years to being a travel agent.

Kim’s love of learning new things keeps her constantly taking classes to challenge herself. Because of her extensive knowledge base, Kim is considered the “go-to” person among family and friends all over the country. She may be asked about any subject from real estate to the stock market. Kimberly has also volunteered at her church’s food pantry, and at The Ronald McDonald House in Maywood.

Although Kimberly is new to health education, she looks forward to making a difference in the community, as well as positively representing the Sinai Urban Health Institute.
