Linda Sabo

Born in Panamá Republic of Panamá, Linda came to United States in 1992.

Prior to coming to Sinai Health Systems, Linda started worked at the Mirage Hotel Casino in Las Vegas Nevada.  In addition, she worked for the Culinary Union as an Organizer at the MGM Grand Hotel Casino.  In 2000 she moved to Chicago, Illinois as a Lead Coordinator Organizer for Hotel Employee Restaurant Employee International Union (H.E.R.E.). Linda was able to train workers and organizers nationwide in different industries; for example, Airports, CPS, Restaurants, cafeterias, Hotels, Casinos, and TV Reporters. Linda’s work involved many varieties of campaigns, to serve the communities and issues like: health, violence, abuse etc.

Last January 2010, she was introduced to the Block by Block, Diabetes program, in Humboldt Park and North Lawndale Communities. She also enjoys educating and serving people especially those who are forgotten.
