Margaret has more than a decade of experience caring for home-bound diabetic patients and 15 years of experience in banking operations. Margaret is a Certified Home Care Provider who has been living with diabetes for more than 20 years. It is this personal experience with diabetes and passion for improved health that she brings to the position of Community Health Educator for the Block by Block North Lawndale Diabetes Community Action Project. 

 

Margaret’s work experience includes employment with American National Bank, Bank One, and Chase. Her reporting and research experience includes experience with Dun & Bradstreet’s reporting system, credit service, commercial loans, daily reports, imaging notes and consumer reports.

 

Margaret is the mother of five and has been married to her husband for nearly four decades.

Margaret also serves as an active member in her church and in the community mentoring people of all ages. She proudly volunteers her time, talents, and expertise to churches and schools on Chicago’s westside.
