Myrthis Christopher

Myrthis Christopher was born in Chicago, Illinois. She joined SUHI in June 2011. Myrthis is a Community Health Educator with the Helping Children Breathe and Thrive program. She has a passion for helping people in need and for making a difference in the communities. Myrthis looks forward to working with and providing asthma education to the families living in public housing.

Before becoming a part of SUHI, Myrthis worked with the Cook County government as a coordinator for seventeen years. She organized training for election judges.

Myrthis is the proud mother of a wonderful son who is an active member in the Armed Forces. She enjoys sports, traveling, reading to learn new things, and entertaining family and friends. She enjoys making others smile and often volunteers at the public library playing board games and doing arts and crafts with the children and homeless.
