Rhonda Lay is currently employed as a Community Health Educator for the Sinai Urban Health Institute & Sinai Children’s Hospital. Prior to coming to Sinai, Rhonda worked as an Asthma Educator teaching adults who were newly diagnosed with COPD or any other related respiratory diseases and on oxygen therapy. Rhonda is a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner that has experience in routine oxygen therapy, acute and chronic respiratory care, special training in Neonatal, BPD, and Asthma Care. Rhonda was also a team member for a clinic that treated individuals with HIV+/AIDS.
In Rhonda’s free time she volunteers at her church as the chairperson of the Health Commission. She is also a member of the Douglas Park Advisory Council and Read It and Speak.
