Professional Summary
Jade Dell has worked in the Chicago area for the last 28 years with a concentration on health research and epidemiology. While at Northwestern University’s Center for Urban Affairs and Policy Research from 1978-1991, she coordinated the preparation of survey instruments, data gathering, and data analysis and participated in writing papers and making presentations on topics related to grant projects including “Epilepsy in the Urban Environment” and “Avoidable Mortality from Cancer in Poor African-American Women.”

From 1991-2000, Ms. Dell served as Research Associate and Project Coordinator at the Chicago Department of Public Health with an emphasis on domestic violence, infant mortality, and community health. She led a project that analyzed Chicago health data as it related to the DHHS Year 2000 Goals for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and published a report on the findings.

In 2000, she was hired by the Sinai Health System to assist in the genesis of the Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI). She serves as Coordinator of Research Programs with a focus on administrative, financial and programmatic tasks related to over 30 grants that have been received by SUHI in the last 6 years. She serves on the Development Grants Committee, the Smoking Cessation Grant Staff, and the Palliative Care Grant Staff.
